There are some issues that you may or may not have. This FAQ, is to help answer most of the common questions that a player may or may not have. Lets start with some of the basics.

Q: Hello, I would like to download and play RF PoA. Where can I do this?
A: You may download the client from the "Download" button in the navigation bar. If you need help installing the client please vist this link,

Q: I need to make a new account, to get inside of the game. How can I do this?
A: You may goto the button on the navatgaton bar, called "GameCP". From here you will see "Don't have a game account? Get one at Here." You may also click here:

Q: I am having issues installing, or logging in, what can I do?
A: We have added some things down below that may assist you. Most common issues are the smallest things, and issue with installing correctly.

Q: What are donations, and why should one donate?
A: Donations are what keeps the server running. RF PoA, runs are very powerful servers, to try and prevent any type of lag. The servers are ran on dual quad core server machines with 18 Gigs of ram, 1k MB Line, and muti-server application. PoA has several servers, to run the game, the site, downloads, the test server, and so much more. The donations goes towards the servers, and the projects we do for RF PoA. As to the reason why should one donate? You should'nt feel you need to. But if you do enjoy playing on RF PoA, every donation, helps us to make the server better for every one.

Q: How can I donate?
A: Please click on the "GameCP", at the top, and login. You will need to be level 40, and have atleast 48 hours of game play.







Client installation or issues connecting.


Launcher starts up, game almost loads, and you get an error? Please try this.

-Goto Start
-Right click on "My Computor"
-Goto "Properties"
-Click on the "Advanced" Tab"
-Under "Performance" click on "Settings"
-Click on the "Data Execution Prevention" Tab"
-Make sure that "Turn on DEP for Essential Windows programs and services only, is checked. Click "Apply" Then "Ok"


Failed To Connect To Patch Server, or can not get in game at all? Try this.
-Follow steps above this.
-Try to turn off your Firewall.
-Try to turn off your Antivirus scan.


Players who critical error a lot:

Run this program after downloading.




Vista Users:
-Goto Your Rf PoA Folder
-Find the "RFPoA.exe
-Right click on the "RFPoA.exe"
-Click on "Propterties"
-Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
-Under "Compatibility Mode" select "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Select "Windows XP"
-Click Apply, then Ok

Players who have client side lag.


Low End and High End Patch: RF PoA understands that there is users who do not have the best PC builds. Even those who have a great build but still tend to lag. Thank to MetalFetus, we have been able to release what is known as our "Low End" Patch. This patch removes glows and other stuff that can and do cause lag issue for players. We also offer a "High End" patch for players who decide they wish to have their texures and glows back to normal. Please vist the download page for these patches.

If your computer cant handle all the stuff happening in Beast Mountain (Rain) or Outcast (Particles) then this patch is for you!
How to Install: Credits to NiteMare

-Download Archive from the bottom of this post from one of the sites provide.
-Open your RF Online Main Client folder.
-Open your Map folder.
-Open Exile_Land folder and drag Exile_Land.ebp in there.
-Open Mountain_Beast folder and drag Mountain_Beast.ebp in there.
-Run Game, and no lag
