We did already catch almost all the ****d items, just some investigative work and a few random things to check are as of yet unfinished.

Players who wish to plead their cases are free to do so, as long as they arent unrealistic about what can be done. We are all human, and we make mistakes. This is POA and fortunately we have that option. Retail and any other server doesn't.

Players who wish to contest this can speak with me and I will re investigate. You will need ventrilo for this.

I assure everyone that if your account was banned, it was beyond a reasonable doubt. I and the other gm's paid special attention to your accts when sighted, and all of your things were looked at as a whole, in accordance with the date you started. Barring admin accts and GM personal accts, almost all these accounts had a high number of high-powered weapons not usually attainable in such numbers. These were banned.

To those of you who have worries about items you traded, some were ignored due to the fact that it poses little threat to the balance of the server. ANYTHING plus 6 was frozen. however, to those of you who have merely one item or two- if there's just one or two innocent acquisitions on there...you were passed over with little thought.

Those of you who had three sets of plus four gear, several of the same weapon, huge numbers of gems and talics, unsealers scrolls, or anything else we feel was dishonest, yes- you are now and forever canned. Don't ask your way out of it like pop2cora, because he was in posession of several plus five staves and a plus five shield, which he could not have made on his own. Cases like this will be glanced at and then rejected.

Again, the GM staff does enforce rules, and one of our rules is no duping or ****ming. We are almost certain that this is what was going on, and no amount of emotional response can defy pur logic and rationality. If you had an irrational number of items on your acct in conjunction with several overpowered weapons, you probably know what you were doing, and trust me, it will show on you when we speak.

This being said, everyone please relax. Honest players have nothing to fear. There are not huge stockpiles of these items floating around. This is what the surge raid was about. And we at the staff feel this was a success.

I suppose some people reading this should wake up and realize that this staff is not helpless like some other servers, and we are like owls- always watching. This was a show of force, pure and simple. If you come here to be dishonest, know we will come down on you like a ton of bricks. I think this operation, now codenamed "METEOR", has spoken for itself.
